Forest City, Iowa February, 2025 – This past weekend Lichtsinn RV held its annual Employee Appreciation Event at the Diamond Jo Casino in Northwood, Iowa. This annual appreciation event is held as a thank you to the entire Lichtsinn RV team for their efforts during the prior year. In 2024 these accomplishments included being awarded the Number One Dealer of Winnebago Motor Homes in North America each year since 2015, the Number One Motor Home Dealer in the State of Iowa for the 23rd consecutive year awarded by Statistical Surveys Inc. and receiving the Winnebago Flying W Customer Service Satisfaction Award for the 31st consecutive year. Lichtsinn RV was named as the United States Small Business of the Week awarded by the U.S. Senate Committee. Lichtsinn RV also maintained consistent Google Reviews over 4.6 stars and achieved a 98% recommended rate on Facebook Reviews for the 2024 calendar year.
Awards were given throughout the event to recognize specific employees for their efforts over the past year.
The first award given was the “You Make a Difference Award.” The recipient of this award is nominated by their peers. This year’s award was given to Jamie Hansen, F&I Analyst: for her positive, helpful, can-do attitude.
Additional awards were given out to recognize “years of service” and dedication to Lichtsinn RV.
Heidi Thompson, Lichtsinn RV Vice President and General Manager, celebrated her 30-year service anniversary.
Brad Buffington, Lichtsinn RV Service Technician, celebrated his 15-year service anniversary and is pictured here with Brian Buffington, Lichtsinn RV Fixed Operations Director.
Mark Delzer, Lichtsinn RV Service Technician, celebrated his 10-year service anniversary, Mark was unable to attend the event.
Jeremy Hanna, Lichtsinn RV Service Technician, celebrated his 5-year service anniversary, and is pictured here with Brian Buffington, Lichtsinn RV Fixed Operations Director. Jeremy has in fact been a part of the Lichtsinn Motors/RV family for over 20 years, originally spending 16 years at Lichtsinn Motors in the GM store.
Cody Lycke, Lichtsinn RV Sales Consultant, celebrated his 5-year service anniversary and is pictured here with Sales Managers Hannah Lunning, Jason Bruckhoff, and Stacy Anderson.
Also, during the event team members/”families” went head to head during the Lichtsinn RV Family Feud game. Thank you to Troy Thompson who served as our game host for the evening!
