The Winnebago View and Navion 24T is the newest, innovative addition to the View and Navion lineup of floor plans and offers multiple options for both upgraded technology and convenience. *The Winnebago View 24T is identical to the Navion 24T. For the purpose of this blog, we refer only to the View, but the details are applicable to both models.
Chassis & Cab Area
Standard, the View 24T is built on the Mercedes-Benz RWD Sprinter chassis. However, you may instead choose the Mercedes-Benz AWD Sprinter chassis. If you do choose this option, the Low Profile Front Cap is required instead of the cabover bed alternative. Opting for the AWD option provides higher ground clearance to better handle adverse weather and rugged terrain. Both chassis options feature a 2.0L high-output, turbo-diesel 4-cylinder engine, 9-speed automatic transmission with overdrive with 250-amp. alternator. In the cab area of the 24T, you have the option to outfit the driver and passenger seat with Ultrafabrics Ultra Select coverings.
Power System
The View 24T comes standard with a 320-amp-hour 12V Lithionics lithium battery with Bluetooth control and a battery pack heating system. Optional equipment on the 24T includes a RVMP 3800W LP generator with auto transfer switch and auto start system. You may instead choose to add, the Generator Replacement Package which includes a powerful 960-amp-hour 12V Lithionics lithium battery pack and also includes Bluetooth control and a battery pack heating system. This package also includes (4) 120-watt solar panels as opposed to the two standard panels. These two optional upgrades are not available together, so you may only choose one or the other.
Interior
One of the most notable options for the interior of the 24T floor plan is the choice of either the cabover bed for additional sleeping space or the low profile front cap that provides extra storage and a sleek look. As mentioned previously, the low profile front cap is required with the Mercedes-Benz AWD chassis. The 24T also provides the option of dual-pane euro acrylic windows with a screen and cassette shade as opposed to the standard tinted coach windows. The dual-pane windows are more energy efficient and provide better insulation from the outdoor climate.
Cooling System
To cool the View 24T, included as a standard feature is a 2-speed 15,000 BTU air conditioner with heat pump. However, you have the option to upgrade to the 3-speed 15,000 BTU Truma Aventa Comfort air conditioner that is not only more efficient but also quieter.
