The Blue Ox Patriot Brake is a versatile flat tow brake system for full-size SUVs, pickups, compact cars, hybrids, or multiple vehicles with different floorplan configurations. It provides real braking action with the same force as a foot on the brake pedal, in the middle of the pedal, at the same angle for true, responsive braking that is quicker and more responsive.
Flat towing, also referred to as “dinghy towing” or “four-down towing,” is a way of towing your car with all four wheels on the ground behind your RV. The tow vehicle is connected to the RV by a tow bar and simply follows you as you drive. A tow brake could be the difference between stopping in time or getting into an accident.
