Guests across the country travel to Lichtsinn RV to purchase their RV. Guests either drive their trade to us or take advantage of our airport transportation service from either the Des Moines International Airport(DSM) or Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) both are approximately 2 hours away from Lichtsinn RV. There is also a municipal airport (MCW) located just 30 minutes from us.
All tax and title fees are paid in the state in which you title your RV, there are no additional fees to purchase your RV in Iowa. When you pick up your motorhome at the dealership, we will provide all the necessary documents to bring to your local vehicle registration office and we will provide a temporary license plate for your travel home. Our Title Clerk is in regular communications with DMVs across the country helping our guests with this process if needed.
A common concern from RVers is where they can get service if they don’t purchase from their local dealer. All Winnebago Dealer’s have committed in their Dealer Agreement to service Winnebago RVs even if they were not purchased from their location. Often, we find when service issues do arise it is when our guests are on the road away from home. Our Service Advisors are regularly on the phone with guests with recommendations on where to receive service wherever they might be throughout the country.
