You’ll find many surprise dealer prep fees, dealer admin fees, and more from other dealers. You’ll always pay your tax and license in your titling state, with no additional taxes due in Iowa.
Once we help you find the perfect RV, the next steps are easy –
- We draft a standard motor vehicle purchase agreement which will outline what we have already discussed
- Do a simple down payment through a credit card over the phone, personal check or wire for orders
- Email you a copy for you to electronically sign safely from your personal computer or phone
- When we receive both back, we will stop marketing the RV and begin the dealer prep process
- Place order with Winnebago, if applicable
We do offer competitive in-house financing at Lichtsinn RV through our business office.
With custom orders from Winnebago, we will email you weekly updates exactly where your RV is in the manufacturing process. Once we settle on dates, you can book your airfare and provide it to us. To make this as easy as possible, we offer a courtesy transportation program for our guests. You can fly into either Minneapolis/St. Paul or Des Moines International Airport and we will have a driver waiting for you at the baggage claim. We will also have a vehicle for your use while you are at the dealership. This program costs $100.00.
When you arrive at the dealership, your RV will be set up in our campground resort where we encourage your to stay for however long during your delivery. You will then complete your half day educational orientation with one of our certified RVDA technicians. This orientation is what our guests rave about on our Google and Facebook Reviews. In our half day orientation, the technician is 100% knowledgeable of the RV and is able to cover every switch and feature, and cover what to do and not to do, cover maintenance and warranty. This allows you to thoroughly inspect your RV before your financial close.
If you have a trade, you can line it up right next to your new RV and easily move from one to the other. We provide you with a memo pad to jot down your questions overnight and you can reconvene with our service department the next morning to answer any additional questions.
We have a fully stocked parts and accessories store so you don’t have to worry about what to bring. You are more than welcome to practice camp for a night, 2 nights, or however long. While you’re here make sure you take a Winnebago Factory Tour, as we are only 1 mile from the factory. You will leave Lichtsinn RV knowing that you have a dedicated support team of sales, parts, service and the business office to answer all of your questions and ensure your RV experience is a great one.
