The Lichtsinn team headed to sunny San Diego, California to attend the Winnebago Redefined Dealer event. At the event, Winnebago released the Outlook, a new Class C, the lithium-powered Travato 59GL and 59KL, an all-new Ability Equipped Intent, and the Horizon 42Q floorplan.

A Brand-New Outlook
Meet the Outlook the groundbreaking new Class C motorhome that’s fully equipped and priced to fit almost any budget. Built on Ford’s proven E350 and E45 chassis. The Outlook’s five well-appointed floorplans include up to two slideouts, and range in length from 24’ to 31’. Each floorplan features a full galley, overhead bed, and a long list of standard amenities at a friendly price point. When your long day of adventures ends, you can count on a good night of rest in the queen bed.
The Travato Gets Powered Up
Under 200-lbs. the three-module automotive grade energy pack provides 8,700-watt hours. It is watertight and durable; the steel housing is the safest on the market. The 59KL and 59GL come standard with the most powerful inverter – a 3,600-watt pure sine inverter – bringing 30 amps of power wherever you go. The Travato’s dedicated 58-volt alternator, or under hood generator, is twice as powerful as competitors. Its compact design keeps it out of the way of curbs and road debris and the auto-start and high-idle control significantly extends air conditioner run time.
The Winnebago and Volta team included the best automotive grade electrical connectors and wiring harness to ensure trouble-free operations and one simple analog gauge that changes color to let you know how much energy is remaining with just a glance.
The MPPT solar controller provides best-in-class solar absorption, up to 30 percent better than competitors, giving you more off-the-grid performance. The Travato 59KL and 59GL come standard with 200-watts with ports to plug-in additional panels.

The Freedom of Travel with the Comforts of Home in the Ability Equipped Intent
For RVers with physical challenges, the new Winnebago Intent can be specially equipped to allow you to: Travel comfortably to visit family and friends — and still sleep in your own bed each night, bring pets or service animals along with you in the motorhome, travel to faraway places without the hassles of flying, get away from the routine of everyday life and build lasting memories!
The following modifications are available on the 26M and 30R floorplans:
- Ricon S-Series platform wheelchair lift with 800-pound lifting capacity
- ROM powered roll-up lift door won’t interfere with the awning hardware. Wall-mount and key-fob remote controls allow a wheelchair user to independently enter and exit the coach
- 23″ high queen bed with Ideal Rest digital control mattress allows easier transfer to and from a wheelchair; the head of the bed can be power-raised and lowered using switches on each side of the bed
- Large roll-in style shower with vertical-mount assist bar and adjustable height shower head make bathing easier (A wall-mount folding bench seat is also available)
- Expanded hallway and toilet areas are for greater accessibility (an optional folding assist bar can be added near the toilet if desired)
