The Winnebago Revel was built for those with a passion for adventure. It combines durability with rugged functionality, smart design and ultimate comfort. Last year the Revel Sport joined the adventure-ready Winnebago Revel. Both the Revel and the Revel Sport floorplans include a multi-purpose gear garage, power lift bed, fully-equipped galley and a flexible living space. Both are also built on the reliable Mercedes-Benz AWD chassis with a turbo-diesel engine and include all of the safety features that accompany the chassis.
The Revel is available in (1) floorplan the 44E while the Revel Sport is available in both the 44N floorplan (similar layout to 44E) and the 44C floorplan. In the 44C floorplan the dining/seating area is comprised of a sideway facing bench seat with an adjustable table vs. the forward-facing bench seat found in the 44N. Both the Revel and the Revel Sport provide the option of adding a rack mounted powered patio awning with Bluetooth Control.
One of the first things you’ll notice about the differences found in the Revel and the Revel Sport is the price tag. The Revel has a base MSRP of $254,076 while the Revel Sport has a base MSRP of $210,570. (These prices are accurate as of March, 2025.)
We will review the key differences in these models that drive the price variance below:
OFF-ROAD PERFORMANCE
The Revel and Revel Sport are built on the Mercedes-Benz AWD Sprinter Chassis and provide the option of adding Customized Performance Wheels and BF Goodrich T/A K02 All-Terrain Tires to enhance off-road performance. Each model includes rear mud guards and running boards that have ground effect lighting and an integrated pet leash attachment. Differences in the off-road performance features of these models include:
Revel: The Revel has a Rear Mounted Ladder, Tubular-Style Running Boards and Front Fairing with dual off-road 10” Light Bars.
Revel Sport: The Revel Sport instead has a Movable Ladder with attachment points along the driver’s side of the coach and Aluminum Running Boards with Rubber Trim.
OFF-GRID POWER
The available off-grid power in each of these models varies significantly. They are each equipped with a 30-amp. power cord and have automatic dual-battery charge control. However, that is where their similarities end.
Revel
Boondocking Capability: *Up to 7 days when it’s Winnebago Power Max System is fully charged.
Voltage: 48V
Lithium Power: (1) Lithionics 8.4 kWh battery (option to add another Lichtsinn RV installed battery for up to 16.8 kWh)
Solar Power: 210-watts is standard with the ability to add up to 1,600 watts of portable solar
Winnebago xEcoFlow Power Hub Pro: A system that combines 5 systems into 1 streamlining power management and optimizing energy performance while saving space and reducing weight. The 5 systems it combines include: a 3,600-watt inverter, inverter charger, DC DC converter, MPPT solar charger and alternator charger. The Revel has dual alternator charging capabilities.
REVEL SPORT
Boondocking Capability: *Up to 2 days when it is fully charged.
Voltage: 12V
Lithium Power: (1) Lithionics 4.1 kWh battery (option to add another Lichtsinn RV installed battery for up to 8.2 kWh)
Solar Power: 215-watts standard with the ability to add up to 290 watts of portable solar
Inverter: Xantrex 2,000-watt inverter/charger
Single Alternator Charging

HOLDING TANKS
The gray holding tank capacity (21 gal.), fuel capacity (24.5 gal.) and cassette toilet capacity (5 gal.) is identical in the Revel and the Revel Sport. The water heater capacity is also identical, as each has continuous hot water. However, see the Freshwater Capacity differences below.

INSIDE THE REVEL AND THE REVEL SPORT
BEDROOM/GEAR GARAGE STORAGE
Upon first glance, the sleeping areas in the Revel and Revel Sport appear similar with the Power Lift Bed that sleeps (2), area reading lights and zipped storage below the bed. Underneath the bed in each model is a large Gear Garage storage area with heavy duty vinyl flooring. However, there are numerous differences in the sleeping/garage areas as well.
Revel: ThePower Lift Bed in the Revel includes WinnSleep Technology and a Thermal Privacy Curtain. The rear Gear Garage has Wood Cabinets and (6) L-Track attachment points.
Revel Sport: The rear Gear Garage in the Revel Sport includes ABS Covers and (6) D-Ring attachment points.
ADDITIONAL STORAGE
Revel: The Revel has large overhead compartments andHettich soft-close Metal Drawers.
Revel Sport: The Revel Sport has solid wood Dovetail Cabinets and a kitchen pantry.
DINETTE/LOUNGE
The Revel and Revel Sport each have a seating area with a table for comfortable seating. Each also has cab seats that swivel to become an integral part of the dining/lounge area. The differences in the dinette/lounge area of these models include:
Revel: The Revel has plush Automotive-Style Seating with (2) 3-point safety belts. The lounge seats have 3-way adjustability (slide, split and recline.) The Revel includes a wall-mounted adjustable table and dedicated table storage behind the lounge seats.
Revel Sport: The Revel Sport instead has aBench Seat with (1) 3-point seat belt and one lap belt. It has a removable Pedestal Table and a hidden storage compartment behind the bench seat back.
GALLEY
Both the Revel and Revel Sport include a fully equipped kitchen with a lightweight laminate countertop. Each has a portable induction cooktop, a 3.0 cu. ft. (12V) single door compressor-driven refrigerator and freezer and a single control faucet.
Revel: The Revel has an extendable Drawer Countertop Extension. The Cabinets have Compression Latches and the sink faucet includes a Pull-Out Sprayer.
Revel Sport: The Revel Sport has a removable Countertop Extension which can be stored under the dinette. The Sports cabinets use Slam Latches.
HEATING AND INSULATION
The 4-season Winnebago Revel and Revel Sport have 3M Thinsulate custom insulation that provides gap-free coverage with a foil-lined barrier, to prevent thermal transfer. Both models include a High-Tech Honeycomb Composite Flooring and the option of adding a 13,500 BTU air conditioner.
Revel: The Revel has aTimberline 2.0 diesel-fired heat and hot water system with multi-zoned operation for the living and bedroom areas and the water tanks. This system has an independent glycol loop to help prevent the freshwater tank from freezing.
Revel Sport: The Revel Sport includes a single zone Timberline 1.0 diesel-fired hydronic heat and hot water.
DÉCOR/EXTERIOR OPTIONS
Exterior options are the same across the Revel and Revel Sport including the Selenite, Silver Grey and Stone Grey exterior colors with the available RAPTOR exterior.
Revel: The Revel has (3) Interior décor options including: the Overlander, the Solstice and the Stealth Gray. The Overlander package includes removable Chilewich floormats in the cab and coach areas and insulated window coverings. The exterior width of the Revel measures 7’5”.
Revel Sport: The Revel Sport has (1) Interior décor option, the Intrepid interior. The exterior width of the Revel Sport measures 7’1”.
WET BATH/GEAR CLOSET
The Revel and Revel Sport include a 31”x26” all-in-one Gear Closet and Wet Bath with a shower wall surround. Each has a flexible showerhead, adjustable shelving, removable clothing rod and a swiveling cassette toilet that can be accessed from outside the coach when it is time for it to be emptied. There are differences in the Wet Bath/Gear Closet in these models as well.
Revel: The Revel has a Split Bath Door that includes a mirror and doubles as a privacy panel from the front to back of the coach. The Revel has (1) adjustable shelf and collapsible storage.
Revel Sport: The Revel Sport instead has a Bi-Fold Door and (2) adjustable shelves.
As you can see, there are a number of differences in the Revel and the Revel Sport that comprise the price difference in these models. You can be assured in either model you will be ready to crush backcountry trails without leaving comfort behind.
