Chassis
The Winnebago Boldt and Winnebago Revel are both built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Diesel VS30 chassis. The Boldt provides the option of adding on-demand 4WD with low range while 4WD with Hi/Lo Range is standard on the Revel.
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Chassis the Boldt and Revel sit upon includes over 30 active and passive safety features including: Active Brake Assist, Active Distance Assist Distronic, Active Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Assist and more. Additionally, the chassis features a 10” MBUX touchscreen with Hey Mercedes voice guidance and artificial intelligence services.
With a 3.0L 6-cylinder 188-hp turbo-diesel engine and the 7G-Tronic automatic transmission the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van allows you to take on any adventure, whether on or off road. You have the option of adding performance wheels with BF Goodrich T/A KO2 all-terrain tires on the Revel.
Exterior
The Boldt includes state-of-the-art automotive grade insulation and in-coach water lines providing all-season reliability. The Boldt is available with a power sliding door (n/a 4WD models.) The Boldt has side and rear screen doors and aluminum running boards with ground effect lighting. The Boldt is available with the option of adding a movable ladder or luggage rack. The Boldt has a 13′ Powered Patio Awning with LED lighting.
With only two exterior openings to control temperature loss, the Winnebago Revel includes automotive grade insulation. The freshwater hook ups are located inside of the Revel which helps prevent issues caused by freezing water tanks and lines. The Revel also includes side and rear screen doors. The Revel includes the movable ladder and luggage rack as standard features. The exterior table on the Revel is height adjustable to ensure the table is level regardless of the ground slope. The Revel has a 9’6″ Powered Patio Awning with LED lighting and it can be Bluetooth controlled.
Floorplans
The Boldt is available in two floorplans, the 70BL and the 70KL. Both feature the Pure3 Energy System and a convertible twin-bed sleeping area. The 70KL distinguishes itself with an open floorplan design and a wet bath moved to the rear rather than mid-coach, as in the 70BL. The 70BL has a lounge area behind the cab seats with dinette seating that can be converted into a dual sleeping surfaces or one large sleeping surface with the flex bed system.
There is one floorplan available for the Winnebago Revel, the 44E. It features swiveling front-cab seats, a removable dinette table and bench dinette seating for two. A full galley adapts to your needs with a removable countertop extension, exterior table, a portable induction cooktop and a 3.0 cubic ft. refrigerator you can access from either inside or outside the coach. The floorplan is also built with the rear bedroom and gear garage. The space-saving Power Lift Bed in the Revel measures 49″x79″ and allows for extra storage underneath. When the gear garage is raised you have spacious storage underneath providing ample room for all of your equipment.

Bath
The Boldt comes equipped with a 26/25 gal. grey water tank. The Winnebago Boldt 70KL has a large rear wet bath with wardrobe that can be accessed from inside the coach or through the rear dual entry doors while the wet bath found in the 70BL can be found in the center of the coach. The bath in the Boldt features an Oxygenics shower head, toilet with foot pedal and sprayer and a powered roof vent. The black holding tank capacity is 24 gal. in the 70BL and 16 gal. in the 70KL.
The Winnebago Revel boasts a permanently mounted 21 gal. gray tank capacity. It has an exterior wash station with water pump switch. Located in one central location, the water control panel has easy-to-read diagrams for winterization, city/tank fill, and more. The bath features a swiveling cassette toilet, flexible showerhead as well as a powered roof vent. The wet bath area also doubles as a gear closet with adjustable shelves and a removeable clothes rod. The Revel does not have a black holding tank and instead has a cassette toilet capacity of 5 gal..
Electrical System
With the Winnebago Boldt, you can enjoy over 12,000 usable watt-hours of clean, quiet power with the lithium based Pure3 Advanced Energy System. The Pure3 system includes Bluetooth® hardware that allows you to monitor the system, including estimated running time, charging status, and more. The Boldt also includes a 3,600-watt Pure Sine Inverter and (2) 115-watt solar panels/battery charger with controller.
The Revel’s (1) Xantrex 320-amp-hour Lithium-Ion battery provides 4,133 watt-hours and is easily accessed inside the van. The Revel also includes a dedicated second alternator to charge the system. The Revel includes a state of charge Battery Management System (BMS) that monitors voltage, amps, wattage, battery temperature, BMS temperature and power state management. This can be done through app management. The BMS system also includes internal heat for protection from the cold.
Heating and Cooling
The Boldt is equipped with the Truma Combi® Eco Plus heating system that includes (2) 850-watt electric heating elements that provide hydronic coach heat and hot water on demand. It is also equipped with the Coleman Mach 10 non-ducted, quiet air conditioner to keep you cool on hot days and nights.
The Revel’s Timberline hydronic furnace and water heating system fuels from the chassis diesel tank. The Revel’s Hydronic Heating System provides comfortable, quiet heating and is controlled by a user-friendly LED touchscreen panel. You can add an optional Coleman Mach 10 NDQ quiet air conditioner to your Revel that keeps the insulated interior cool.
