The Winnebago EKKO, with the enhanced capability of AWD, has off-road capability, large living and storage spaces and a multifunctional living area. The EKKO 22A is built on the Ford AWD Transit Chassis while the EKKO 23B is built on the Mercedes-Benz AWD Sprinter Chassis. Each floorplan includes enhanced chassis safety features. The EKKO was built with year-round use in mind. The all-weather features found in the EKKO ensure your camping season doesn’t have to end when the temperature drops.

- Ford AWD Transit Chassis (22A) – The 31-gallon fuel tank on the EKKO 22A greatly extends its driving range. The EKKO 22A’s Chassis includes numerous standard safety features including:

- Headlights – The high performance automatic high beam headlights found on the EKKO include high beam control and maximize the view of the road ahead. The headlamps are automatically activated by use of the wipers.
- All-Weather Prepped – All water systems in the Winnebago EKKO, including tanks and water lines, are located inside the coach for all-season functionality.
- All -Season Insulation – The EKKO has extensive all-season insulation in the roof, sidewalls, floor and doors. This added insulation helps to reduce power and resource consumption.
- Dual-Pane Acrylic Windows – The Tinted Dual-Pane Euro Acrylic Windows found in the EKKO provide added insulation. In warmer weather the windows can be opened wide to let in a cross-coach breeze.
- Multiple insulated exterior compartments – The EKKO’s multiple insulated exterior compartments help extend your camping season. The large heated and insulated Gear Garage in the EKKO can be accessed from 3 sides, each fitted with Molle Gear Panel Organizers to make the EKKO mod friendly.
- Heated Holding Tank Compartment – The heated holding tank compartment in the EKKO ensures your tanks stay warm regardless of the outside temperature.
- Truma VarioHeat Comfort Heater – This heater includes Intelligent Fan Control and near silent The EKKO’s Truma VarioHeat Comfort Heater includes a 3 stage burner and consumes only 1 amp draw, 4,700 BTU, 8900 BTU, and 11,500 BTU. This heater was tested at 9,000 ft elevation and is operational at 11,000 ft. This automatic powered heater boasts a compact size, high air flow for quick heating and a digital control panel. - Air Conditioner – The EKKO includes a 13,500 BTU air conditioner to cool the EKKO on hot days and warm nights.
- Thermal Cab Partition – The portable thermal cab partition panel in the EKKO separates the cab area from the rest of the coach. The panel acts to further keep the main living area at a constant and comfortable temperature. The EKKO 22A also includes a front wraparound curtain for additional privacy while the EKKO 23B includes thermal cab window blinds for additional temperature control.
- Insulated Water Service Center – The easy-to-use Nautilus Freshwater Manifold System found in the EKKO 22A is not only very user friendly but is found inside the coach to ensure it maintains the same temperature as you experience when inside the EKKO. The EKKO 23B also includes an insulated water service center. These centers house the water center control panel, hooks, cable TV input, freshwater drain and portable satellite dish hook-up.
- Power – The EKKO 22A includes a Cummins Onan QG 2800i gas generator while the EKKO 23B includes a Cummins Onan 2500i LP generator. Each EKKO floorplan includes a 320-amp-hour lithium ion battery with a battery pack heating system. A dedicated under-the-hood second alternator charges the coach batteries. You have the option to remove the generator in either floorplan if you wish. In the 22A you can replace the generator with an additional 320-amp-hour lithium ion battery. In the 23B floorplan you can choose to delete the generator and add a 630-amp-hour lithium ion battery. Another option with either floorplan is you can choose to keep both the generator and the standard lithium battery and have a Lichtsinn RV trained technician install the 2nd lithium ion battery. The EKKO has a 2,000-watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter and the 22A has (2) 170-watt and (1) 115-watt solar panels while the 23B has (2) 215-watt and (1) 100-watt solar panels. With either floorplan you will receive a 220-watt flexible surface solar panel if the pop-top option is selected. As you can see, the EKKO is equipped with numerous power sources to ensure you EKKO is powered regardless of the temperature.
- Connected – Stay connected in your Winnebago EKKO. The EKKO 22A includes the Ford Pass while the EKKO 23B includes the Mercedes me connect app. Each of these apps includes remote start, access RV location and vehicle health monitoring. Each of these features can be very helpful in inclement weather.
- Spare Tire – Each of the EKKO floorplans includes a spare tire which can come in handy if you should run into a roadside emergency.
