CHASSIS & FUEL
The Forza is built on the Freightliner XCS which provides a solid foundation, boasting 700 lb. ft. of torque or power and is paired with the best of class Allison six-speed transmission that includes grade braking and engine exhaust braking. Comparatively, the Adventurer is equipped with the new Ford F53 chassis with 7.3 litre V8 which is powered by a new TorqShift six-speed automatic transmission with grade braking.
One of the most important difference between the Winnebago Forza and Winnebago Adventure is fuel-type and the many things that accompany this difference. While the Adventurer is a Winnebago Class A motorhome, the Forza is a Class A “Diesel Pusher.” Diesel motorhomes provide increased torque, increased towing capacity, air ride suspension for a more comfortable night and more. However, the first factor that people notice when comparing diesel versus gas is price.
The Winnebago Adventurer’s price starts at $241,455 while the Forza starts at $353,711. A main component of this cost difference is the chassis, so price is a significant consideration when choosing between a Class A diesel or gas RV. With the diesel Winnebago Forza, you are equipped with a 340-hp Cummins ISB 6.7L engine, NeWay air suspension with V-Ride, OptiView dash with a digital instrument panel cluster, and the DriveTech driving system. The Forza also features an innovative slide room lock system to keep your slide rooms secured during travel. These significant and innovative features contribute greatly to the price difference and ensure you will have the power and maneuverability needed to comfortably reach your destination.
Because of this improved and more powerful system, the Winnebago Forza also has a much higher tow rating of 10,000-lb. with a 500-lb. maximum vertical tongue weight while the Adventurer’s trailer hitch maxes out at 5,000-lb. with a 500-lb. maximum vertical tongue weight.
The Winnebago Adventurer has a 7.3L V8 Engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission with tow/haul mode and Hydro-Max System power brakes. The Adventurer also has electronic stability and traction control, a steering stabilizer system and the Sumo Springs Suspension enhancement.
FLOORPLANS
The Winnebago Forza is available in three floorplans, each with ample seating and storage. The 34T floorplan can sleep up to five people, the 36H sleeps 6, and the 38W, by utilizing bunk beds and numerous sleeping areas, has a sleeping capacity of up to eight. Another feature that makes the 38W floorplan stand out are the two full-baths available while the 34T and 36H floorplans both include one full bath.
The Winnebago Adventurer is currently available in two floorplans, the 34W and 35F, with a third coming soon, the 36Z. Both the 34W and 35F include two slideouts, one of which houses the dining and seating area while the other allows access to the walkaround bed, and the 36Z floorplan will include three slideouts for maximum use of space. Both the 34W and 35F floorplans have sleeping areas for five people while the 36Z can sleep six.
EXTERIOR
Both the Winnebago Forza and Winnebago Adventurer include a powered awning with LED lighting in order to create a convenient patio for outdoor entertaining. However, the Forza includes a second patio awning in the 34T floorplan while the 36H and 38W floorplans feature a powered awning over the entry door. Another difference between the Forza and Adventurer is the inclusion of an outdoor entertainment center. While the Adventurer includes a setup with 32″ HDTV, two speakers, DVD player, and AM/FM radio standard, the Forza offers a similar setup as an additional option.
Both models also include the KeyOne™ lock system, PetPal leash tie down, lighted storage compartments, automatic entrance steps as well as a few other popular features.
INTERIOR
The Winnebago Forza now features a new standard king bed (34T), an optional king bed (36H), bunk beds (38W) and optional StudioLoft™ above the cab seating, which is what allows you to comfortably accommodate up to eight (38W) overnight guests. Not only is the Forza now designed with more versatile sleeping spaces, each floorplan also includes numerous adaptable seating areas. These furnishings include the BenchMark Dinette, TrueComfort+ Sofa, Rest Easy Sofa, StudioLoft bed and more. The 36H and 38W floorplans also include an electric fireplace.
Each floorplan in the Winnebago Adventurer includes a standard king-size bed as well as similar furnishings to the Forza that double as sleeping and seating areas including a TrueComfort+ Sofa, BenchMark Dinette, StudioLoft Bed and more. The Winnebago Adventurer is loaded with features and amenities that are typically reserved for diesel pushers including Versa swivel drivers seat, Ultrafabrics Primera leather furnishings and more.
Both the Forza and Adventurer are prepped for an optional washer and dryer within a cabinet that can otherwise be used as a hanging wardrobe.
GALLEY
Both the Winnebago Adventurer and Winnebago Forza Galleys have been recently upgraded with all of the conveniences you expect from home.
The galley in the Forza includes Corian® countertops and Corian® sink covers. The 2-door residential refrigerator and freezer includes an icemaker. For cooking you’ll have a 3-burner gas range top with a glass cover so you can use it as counter space when not in use.
In the Winnebago Adventurer you’ll find attractive new Corian® countertops that set off the ceramic tile backsplash in the galley, and the range top incorporates both LP and induction to deliver fast and easily controlled heat. The large stainless steel residential refrigerator includes an ice-maker and water dispenser. In the pantry you’ll find custom baskets to help store your items.
BATH
Each floorplan of the Forza includes a mid-coach full bath while the 38W floorplans includes an additional and spacious bathroom in the rear. Each bathroom is equipped with laminate countertops, a porcelain toilet with foot pedal and sprayer and the 38W includes a matching sink cover in the master bath.
The full-size bathrooms found in the Adventurer as well as the additional half-bath in the 35F and 36Z floorplans, are equipped with Corian countertops, tile backsplash, a porcelain toilet with foot pedal and sprayer, as well as a porcelain lavatory sink.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
For the electrical setup, both the Winnebago Forza and Winnebago Adventurer are equipped standard with cable TV input, a 50-amp power cord, shoreline/generator automatic changeover switch, and portable satellite hookup.
The Winnebago Forza includes a 2,000-watt inverter/charger with coach battery disconnect switch as well as a 6,000-watt Cummins Onan generator. Also included are four (4) deep-cycle Group 31 Marine/RV batteries. To help you stay connected on your travels, the Forza comes standard with a Wi-Fi router signal booster.
Comparatively, the Winnebago Adventurer is instead equipped with a 5,500-watt Cummins Onan® Marquis Gold™ gas generator. The Adventurer also includes four (4) deep-cycle Group 31 Marine/RV batteries like the Forza. Also included in the Adventurer is a Winegard Air 360 antenna and Gateway 4G LTE Wi-Fi router.
