We are excited about the 12V powered Norcold Compressor driven Refrigerator / Freezer paired up with the Zamp Solar System found in the all new Winnebago View and Navion 24D floorplan. We wanted to put this refrigerator to the test to see how long it would stay cold working off the solar power alone.
In THIS VIDEO we do a time lapse over a number of days to see how well the Winnebago View and Navion 24D Norcold Refrigerator and Freezer maintains its temperature working off of the Zamp Solar panels only. This 24D floorplan makes use of 2 100 watt panels PLUS a Zamp Flexi Kit. We have the detail of these kits and the refrigerator listed below.
The Zamp 100-Watt Deluxe Solar Kit
The 100-Watt Solar Panel is versatile enough to work in all applications. This solar kit maintains the charge of most single 12 volt battery systems. This kit can expand and is a great start to your solar power lifestyle. All US manufactured Zamp panels utilize top-of-the-line Grade A monocrystalline solar cells providing high efficiency output throughout the day. These high end panels feature AR (Anti-Reflective) coated glass for maximum light absorption.
The original anodized aluminum frame has received an overhaul. Say goodbye to predrilled mounting holes and hello to the NEW Omni-Mount Frame. This newly designed frame is sturdier and more versatile than traditional frames. With the freedom to mount to feet anywhere on the frame, many of the previous install issues are removed. The included stainless steel hardware ensures your panels stay in place throughout your journey.
Keep your mind at ease with a visual check of the LCD display on the digital 5-stage charge controller. Real time indication of your system’s status for many metrics including volts, amps and amp hours. Dual self-resetting circuit breakers will keep your system protected from an over-current event. They will automatically reset after a period of time.

The Zamp 100-Watt Flexi Expansion Kit
When you demand more power to your flexible panel solar panel system, look no further than the 100-watt flexi expansion panel. The 100-Watt Flexi-Kit can expand to 300 watts, to charge any 12-volt battery bank, including lithium.
This panel is constructed utilizing North American manufactured high efficiency SunPower solar cells. The panel may safely flex but it is recommended to flex as minimally as possible to avoid micro-cracking.
