The Winnebago View and Navion were designed for the Class C motorhome market with luxury and all the comforts of home in mind. The View stands out with a smart and efficient design, fuel-efficient Mercedes-Benz Sprinter diesel chassis, and four versatile floorplans, the 24D, 24V, 24T, and 24R. Each floorplan includes unique features with your comfort in mind for all of your travels by maximizing living space and providing numerous sleeping options. Continue reading to learn about the differences between these floorplans to help decide which is the perfect fit for you and your RV adventures.
*The floorplans of the Winnebago View and Navion are identical. For the purposes of this Blog, we will refer only to the View, but the details are applicable to both models.
Winnebago View 24D
Upon first entering the Winnebago View 24D floorplan, you are welcomed into a large, open-concept living area that maximizes every inch of available space. Directly across from the entryway is large slide room that includes a comfortable seating and lounging area that can either feature a U-shaped dinette or optional theater seating. The standard U-shaped dinette allows for an additional sleeping area with the removable pedestal table and available cushions.
Within the same slideout is a sofa/Murphy+ bed combo that transforms seamlessly to a lounging space during the day to comfortable sleeping at night with the touch of a button. Across from the large slideout is the inline, fully-equipped kitchen galley with 2-burner induction and LP range cooktop, 10 cu. ft. refrigerator/freezer, and microwave/convection oven. The space also includes inviting accent lighting below the cabinets, lighted soft close drawers, large built in pantry and more.
Moving to the rear of the coach, you will find a spacious bathroom with a 24″ x 32″ shower, medicine cabinet, composite toilet and a large wardrobe space for additional belongings.
Outside of the 24D you have 30 cu. ft. of storage space that includes a large pass-through storage compartment and a dry storage compartment.
Winnebago View 24V
Stepping inside the Winnebago View 24V, you will find an organized layout also designed with flexibility in mind. Directly across from the entry is a TrueComfort+ Sofa that can optionally be replaced with dual recliners, and both of these options include a removable pedestal table. Similar to the 24D floorplan, across from this seating area is the inline galley with 2-burner induction and range cooktop, 10 cu. ft. refrigerator/freezer, microwave convection oven and more. However, the 24V does not include the large pantry for storing your dining essentials and instead positions the wardrobe in this area.
Across from the kitchen is the midcoach bath that is compact yet functional and includes a 19″ x 28″ x 34″ shower with a retractable shower screen, porcelain toilet with foot pedal and sprayer, and additional bathroom features such as a towel bar, towel rack and more.
One of the most notable differences in the 24V floorplan is the rear bedroom that includes a Flex Bed System with two twin beds measuring 32″x74″ and 32″ x 78″, that easily convert into a large 74″x87″ king sized bed. This system also allows for access to storage below the beds.
Outside of the 24V you have 33.6 cu. ft. of storage spacement and a dry storage compartment. The basement storage in the 24V includes a large rear pass-through storage compartment that can be accessed from the rear or passenger side of the coach.
Winnebago View 24T
The Winnebago View 24T is one of the most recent additions to the View floorplan lineup with a completely transformed interior, including the latest in Winnebago innovations. Upon entering, you are first greeted by the seating and lounge area which features power-reclining theater seating with lap tables. This area includes a 60″ x 75″ Murphy+ queen bed with WinnSleep System that easily lowers over the theater seating with the touch of a button.
Although you can comfortably dine using the the theater seating with lap tables, this floorplan also includes a fold down dining table with chairs that can easily be stowed when not in use. This passenger side of the coach also includes overhead cabinets and a 32″ HDTV ensuring easy viewing. As you move further toward the rear of the coach, you find the galley kitchen which provides a large single-basin sink with cover, flip-up counter extension, and a combination two-burner induction and LP range cooktop with a convection microwave oven conveniently located above. The 24T also has a 10.0 cu. ft. refrigerator/freezer and a kitchen pantry.
Included at the rear of the coach is a spacious bathroom, featuring a 30″ x 34″ shower with built-in seat, porcelain toilet with foot pedal, as well as a wardrobe with extensive storage including sliding doors, two drawers, and three shelves.
Outside of the 24T you’ll have a massive 80.9 cu. ft. of storage. Included in this is the heated gear garage that spans the full-width of the coach. Inside the garage you’ll find the L-track cargo tie down system, durable floor mat, 110V/12V charging ports and LED lighting.
Winnebago View 24R
The View 24R is also a more recent addition to the Winnebago Class C lineup and includes numerous innovations and design elements that make it unique among the View floorplans. Upon first entering the 24R, you are greeted by the lounging area which includes the TrueComfort+ Sofa which can be converted into an additional sleeping area or the optional dual recliner seating. To the left of the seating area is the 10 cu. ft. refrigerator/freezer while the remaining kitchen galley elements are directly across the coach, featuring a 2-burner induction and range cooktop, stainless steel sink with cover, as well as a microwave/convection oven above with adjacent 32″ LED HDTV.
The cross-aisle bathroom is one of the most unique elements of the View 24R. The design includes swinging doors that, when closed, create a spacious and private bathroom. On one side is the 25″ x 30″ shower while the other side includes a porcelain toilet with foot pedal as well as a large vanity.
Similar to the 24V, this floorplan includes two rear beds, each measuring 32″x76″ that easily convert into a single, larger 84″x76″ sleeping surface using the Flex Bed System. The twin beds also include storage underneath with cabinets and drawers.
Outside of the 24R you’ll also have a massive 80.9 cu. ft. of storage that includesthe heated gear garage just like the 24T.
