Which brings us to one of the most common questions we receive regarding these full featured Class C Diesel RVs. What is the difference between the Winnebago View and the Winnebago Navion. The answer quite simply is: The name.

The only difference in these two models is literally the name. The Navion is a legacy name from when Winnebago Brands included the Itasca line of RVs. At that time Winnebago offered the Winnebago View and the Itasca Navion. Even at that time, there were very few differences between the Winnebago View and Itasca Navion. (Depending on the model year the differences were more extensive. However, towards the end of life of the Itasca Brand they were very similar.) The reason for both brands to exist was simply that some dealers were authorized to sell the Navion and some the View. Lichtsinn RV was one of the few Winnebago dealerships who was authorized to sell both.

Since Winnebago Industries discontinued the Itasca Brand they moved select legacy Itasca models to the Winnebago Brand, the result is the Winnebago Navion. The Winnebago View and the Winnebago Navion have identical floorplans, identical interior and exterior selections, the identical chassis, specifications etc.
