The Winnebago Vista and Winnebago Sunstar Class A gas RVs include updated styling and legendary Winnebago® quality. The Vista and Sunstar are available in 4 floorplans, we will be focusing on the 29V floorplan.
The Vista and Sunstar’s 29V floorplan offers plenty of living space and ample storage, whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or the adventure of a lifetime. The Vista and Sunstar are loaded with features and amenities typically reserved for diesel pushers including available full body paint with chrome mirrors, trim, grille inlay and LED headlamps, Corian countertops in the galley, UltraFabrics covered furnishings and much more! The full wall slideout found in the 29V provides extra space throughout the coach, while the convenient mid-coach bath separates the rear bedroom from the expansive lounge area.
The 29V is built on the Ford F53 chassis with 19.5” stainless steel wheels with chrome covers. The 29V measures 30’ in length with a height of 12’1”. It has an exterior storage capacity of 122 cu. ft. and large custom holding tanks. The freshwater tank has a capacity of 71 gallons, the black tank capacity is 40 gallons and the gray tank capacity is 61 gallons.
The Winnebago Sunstar and Winnebago Vista models and floorplans are identical with the exception of the name on the side of the coach, so for the balance of this blog we will refer to the Vista, which also includes information for the Sunstar. Winnebago Driver Confidence Package
The Vista 29V includes the Winnebago Driver Confidence Package as a standard feature. This package includes 9 advanced technologies designed to increase your confidence and comfort behind the wheel so you can arrive at your destination relaxed and refreshed.

Full Wall Slideout
The full wall driver side slideout in the 29V extends the living space throughout the coach. In the slideout you will find your choice of theater seating or a sofa/bed, the kitchen including a pantry and in the back of the coach the bedroom wardrobe.
Living Area
In the living area of the 29V you’ll find a 39” HDTV and a framed wall mirror. A 40”x66” sofa/bed is standard, but you may choose to add theater seating instead. The 42”x70” dinette includes a Hi-Lo table with storage. There are (3) safety belts found within the dinette and the seats lift up to reveal storage below. The table can be lowered to provide a comfortable sleeping surface.
Control the temperature and other RV functions with Winnebago Control that includes a 7” touchscreen monitor. Here you have access to monitor your holding tank capacities, state of battery charge, lighting, temperature, awning, slideout, jack and StudioLoft bed controls,
Kitchen
The kitchen in the 29V includes a Corian countertop and backsplash. The dual bowl stainless steel kitchen sink includes a lever faucet and pullout sprayer. Also included is a 3-burner recessed range top, you may choose to add an oven as well. The 29V includes a microwave with touch controls and a large 2-door 10.0 cu. ft. 12V DC stainless steel refrigerator and freezer. To the left of the refrigerator is a floor-to-ceiling pantry.
Bathroom
The all-in-one bathroom found in the 29V features a 26”x38” shower with a glass shower door. In the bathroom you’ll also find a porcelain toilet with foot pedal, a vanity with storage and extended counterspace, a medicine cabinet and a linen cabinet.
Bedroom
The large bedroom in the 29V includes a king-sized bed flanked with storage on either side. It also includes a large wardrobe with hanging and drawer storage as well as a location for an optional 32” TV. The tandem sliding door provides privacy to the bedroom area. For additional sleeping capacity you can choose to add the powered StudioLoft bed over the cab area which has a 600 lb. weight capacity and provides a 50”x80” sleeping surface for two.
Exterior Kitchen
The 29V floorplan includes an exterior Tailgate Package located on the passenger side rear of the coach. Enjoy the outdoors with the Tailgate Package which provides easy outdoor access to a refrigerator, storage, LP Quick-Connect, stainless steel sink, bottle opener and paper towel holder.
Exterior Entertainment Center
For further outdoor enjoyment the 29V includes an exterior 39” HDTV on the passenger side of the coach with a remote and speakers. You can ensure your pet stays close with the PetPal leash tie down which can also be found on the passenger side of the coach.
Power
The 29V has plenty of power for its frame and includes a 55-amp converter/charger with a 30-amp power cord. The 29Vs power comes from the 4,000-watt gas generator and 2 deep-cycle Marine/RV Group 31 batteries and a 2,000-watt inverter. Solar panel/battery charger wiring prep is standard in the 29V, however you may choose to add a 115-watt solar panel from the factory and can add up to 460-watts total in after-market installation. You can choose to add additional power with the Cooling Upgrade Package which not only increases your A/C power from a single 15,000 BTU air conditioner to (2) 13,500 BTU air conditioners, but also switches you to a 50-amp power cord and a 5,500-watt gas generator.
