The Winnebago EKKO blends the off-road nomadic nature of van life with the storage and livability of traditional Class C motorhomes while providing exceptional off-grid, all-weather performance. Standard AWD ensures access to places other motorhomes simply cannot reach, while its compact size makes it easy to drive and park. With tanks and water lines inside the coach and above the floor, plus advanced insulation and dual-pane acrylic windows, the EKKO is ready for year-round adventures, even in cold weather.
The AWD all-season Winnebago EKKO is available in two floor plans, the 22A built on the Ford Transit and the 23B built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, and includes many features that allow you to stay comfortable with peace of mind as you travel. Power System
The standard lithium-ion battery in both floor plans is a 320-amp-hour Lithionics lithium-ion battery with Bluetooth control and a battery pack heating system that allows for further energy independence. For the 22A, you may add another 320-amp-hour battery. However, if this is ordered factory-installed, the generator must be deleted, but it is possible to keep the generator if the additional battery is installed aftermarket. In the 23B, you can add an even more powerful 630-amp-hour Lithionics lithium-ion battery with the same generator limitations as the 22A.
Both the 22A and 23B floor plans include a dedicated second alternator to charge the coach batteries while driving recharges the lithium-ion battery in capable of charging in under (2) hours.
For solar power, the 22A provides up to 455-watts with (2) 170-watt and (1) 115-watt panel/battery charger system. With the addition of the optional pop-top, a 220-watt flexible surface panel is installed. Comparatively, the 23B provides up to 530-watts with (2) 215-watt and (1) 100-watt solar panels for battery charging. It also includes the 220-watt flexible panel with the addition of a pop-top.
For generators, the 22A includes a Cummins Onan 2,800-watt gas generator while the 23B provides a Cummins Onan 2,500-watt LP generator
Plumbing System
Both EKKO floor plans include a 50-gal. freshwater tank with proportionate waste tanks that are located inside the coach and make extended stays possible. The EKKO also includes a water service center that is not only convenient to access but is heated and well insulated. This compartment includes a color-coded Nautilus water control panel, exterior shower, TV input connection, freshwater drain, and portable satellite dish hookup.
To allow you to quickly adjust water temperature while also enjoying an unlimited supply of hot water, both EKKO floor plans feature the Truma AquaGo tankless comfort plus water heater with recirculation pump. The EKKO also features a cold water purification system in the galley.
Heating & Cooling
For heating, the EKKO includes the Truma VarioHeat comfort heater, an ideal compact heating solution. This system can be easily set with a push button knob to maintain consistent room temperature. Cool temperatures are provided by a 13,500 BTU air conditioner while superior insulation in the roof, walls, and floor provide extended-season camping.
